Delusions of Grandeur

I was too lazy and tired last Saturday to post anything, so I'm writing it all down today.

Last saturday tropicalcancer dropped by our house. Guess what he brought along? Aside from the comicbooks he's ogling at, he bought me a black kitten.

I've always wanted one. I named her Kuro-chan for obvious reasons. Unlike most kittens who claw you when you bathe them, she doesn't. But she didn't like getting wet since she struggled a lot too. I had to do it though, since tropicalcancer said she never had one, ever.

She likes attention too. She'll instantly rub her hear to your hand or roll over so you can tickle her or play with her paws. Good thing she never playfully claws your hand hard like the other cats do. Right now she's residing on our laundry area since she dropped two big ones in my room after I left to take maedinn home. We always play with her tho, since she didn't like other company except humans. She screeched at the kitten I brought from outside.

Gotta start potty-training her though...and buy a sandbox while I'm at it!!!

To break away from the dullness of work, I went to the arcade with my younger brother and maedinn on separate occassions. Gateway is my friend. We tried-out games that we haven't played yet. There's 2 machines that caught our attention.

We like Percussion Freaks. We played the "tambol" type not the drumset. I find it fun and very stress relieving. I guess I like hitting things. And I always get an A+ on the Aqua songs, but never on the Britney ones... (°_°)a

We also like busting zombies with shotguns in House of the Dead 3. House of the Dead 4 is cool and all, but I think the aiming is kinda iffy on that machine. Plus I think shotguns are cooler than submachine guns. (^_^)

Because of boredom, and because Muteki Kanban Musume and Coyote Ragtime Show won't be out till Tuesday/Wednesday, I scourged the net the entire Saturday evening for view-worthy anime. I was thinking of enduring the Witchblade series since it's from Gonzo, even if the story is godawful. Fortunately I stumbled upon these two series while passing time downloading Witchblade and uderstanding how IRC works.

Welcome To The N.H.K.

It's a funny series recommended by mikkikoron. I find myself similar to the protagonist in more ways than one.

Tho I legitimately have a SOHO (single office/home office), I am like a hikkomori because of the hectic lifestyle I have that I seldom come out and mingle with people.

And like him, we are making our own game dev company. A legit one. We're currently planning this whole thing, from scouting possible members right down to the legality issues. Details are hush-hush for now. It's a make or break. But as they say, you won't know until you try. :D

Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni (When Cicadas Cry)

I remember telling bryan_datenshi that I rarely get the creeps from watching anime. I take it all back after watching this series.

I'll say it over and over again: THIS IS NOT YOUR NORMAL SHOUJO HAREM SHOW!

The story is good enough to get me engrossed. I watched it on Youtube because I can't wait for the slow torrent download, especially after the "Spirited Away By Ogres" arc is finished, and you move on to the answers arc. And the complete turnaround from "cutesy-patootsie" style to "omaigadwatdapakurkrazy" mode creeps me. It doesn't rely on heavy graphic imagery to creep and disturb you. It's as creepy as Fatal Frames 2. I still can't map-out the whole scenario right tho since you're like watching Haruhi. But you slowly get what went on before the end of the spirited away arc.

Gah! I recommend you to watch it! Bloody good! Rena gives me the creeps!
